Opis Produktu : The Marvel UK Transformers Annual 1989 (published in October 1988) specifically featured exclusive character biographies for the Seacons, a faction of aquatic Decepticons capable of combining into Piranacon . Unlike standard Hasbro toy tech specs, these character profiles were uniquely written to fit the localized Marvel UK comic continuity managed by writer Simon Furman. During this era of Marvel UK's run, the publication was heavily relying on these annuals and weekly stories to introduce newer toys—such as the Seacons, Firecons, and Powermasters—ahead of their mainstream appearances in the US books. In fact, an in-universe text story later joked about the Firecons being sent by Decepticon High Command to incinerate copies of the Transformers Annual 1989 because it acted as "anti-Decepticon propaganda" .
