Opis Produktu : Modesty Blaise is a British comic-strip heroine created by Peter O’Donnell and Jim Holdaway. She begins as a nameless orphan who survives the postwar Balkans and Mediterranean through her intelligence and toughness. Later, she takes over a crime syndicate called The Network in Tangier and runs it ethically. After retiring wealthy, she becomes bored and starts helping British intelligence. Her closest companion is Willie Garvin, her loyal but strictly platonic partner. She is known for being brilliant, fearless, and highly skilled in self-defense. The comic strip ran in British newspapers from 1963 to 2001.Peter O’Donnell also wrote novels and short-story collections about her.The series is famous for its sharp dialogue, action, and stylish settings.It is also considered an important early example of a strong female action hero.
