Opis Produktu : Planet of the Apes (Marvel UK) was a highly successful British weekly comic that ran for 123 issues between October 26, 1974, and February 1977. While Marvel UK was part of the US-based Marvel Comics, this publication was tailored for the British market, reprinting US material while creating a unique, faster-paced publishing schedule .The weekly publication primarily reprinted stories from the US Planet of the Apes magazine (1974–1977), including adaptations of the original films and new storylines, such as the widely praised "Terror on the Planet of the Apes".Because the weekly, 123-issue run in the UK quickly caught up with the slower US monthly publication schedule, Marvel UK ran out of material. To solve this, they created the Apeslayer storyline in issues #23–30. This was a heavily edited, redrawn, and re-lettered version of the US Killraven series (Amazing Adventures), where the martian invaders were replaced by apes .
